STC militias prevent leader in Islah Party from entering Sayoun

HADRAMOUT, July 13 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Thursday, prevented leader in Islah party, Salah Batis, from entering Sayoun district, the center of Wadi Hadramout province.

Batis said in a tweet on Twitter that a security point at “Maduda” junction prevented him from passing today while he was moving from al-Quttn area in response to the invitation of Sheikh Yahya Bagri, head of the Hadrami Honor Code Commission.

Batis explained that this ban came at the direction of the director of Wadi Hadramout security, Abdullah Bin Habish, who is loyal to the transitional, forcing him to return to al-Quttn.
