Armed attack targets senior leader in Aden

ADEN, July. 11 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen targeted on Tuesday the house of a prominent leader at the of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the center of Aden, which is under the control of the coalition factions.

Sources familiar with the matter in the city reported that Ali Ahmed al-Jabwani’s house was targeted in al-Mamdara neighborhood in Sheikh Othman area with a barrage of fire.

The sources indicated that the attack caused a fire in parts of the house and terrorized women and children, amid accusations among members of the STC militias.
