Islah Party declares new tribal bloc in Shabwa

SHABWA, July. 11 (YPA) – The Islah party declared on Monday a new tribal bloc in the city of Ataq, the provincial capital of Shabwa.

Tribal sources in the province stated that a number of political and tribal figures transferred the event of announcing the bloc of “National Alliance of the Shabwa Tribes to Al-Awsaj area of Merkhah As Sufla district of the province.

Some tribal sources pointed out that the bloc was declared on Tuesday in Merkhah As Sufla district, in the presence of sheikhs, notables, notables, and tribal references loyal to Islah, after the authorities loyal to the Emirates prevented the ceremony of declaring the Alliance on Monday in Ataq city.

The meeting chose Ali bin Doshel Al-Nasi as the head of the Alliance, within an integrated leadership including all the tribes and social components of Shabwani.

The Islah Party had accused the leadership of the local authority of trying to split the ranks of the Shabwa tribes between Saudi Arabia and the Emirates and leading them towards fighting, similar to in Hadramout.
