Protests in Hadramout denounce pro-coalition government’s corruption
HADRAMOUT, July 11 (YPA) – The districts of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, witnessed protest vigils on Tuesday denouncing the corruption of the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.
The people of Al-Qattan and Rarim districts gathered to protest against the deterioration of basic services and living conditions due to administrative corruption in the province.
The vicinity of the local administration building in the city of Sayoun city in Hadramout Valley also witnessed a popular protest vigil, denouncing the corruption of the pro-coalition government .
The protests come in response to the call of “Al-Haba Al-Hadhramiya”, the most prominent allies of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the province.
