UAE prevents inspection of ship carrying suspicious cargo in Socotra

SOCOTRA, July 10 (YPA) – The UAE-backed factions prevented on Monday the inspection of a ship that arrived at the port of Socotra from Abu Dhabi.

Informed sources confirmed that Raafat al-Thaqali, who occupies the position of “governor of the Socotra archipelago” province appointed by the UAE, and other officials prevented the employees of the security and intelligence services at the port from inspecting an Emirati ship carrying suspicious containers.

According to observers, the UAE has been transporting weapons, military equipment, and intelligence devices through the ports of Socotra under the cover of humanitarian work run by the “Khalifa Foundation”, without these shipments being subject to any inspection or official procedures.
