Yemeni riyal continues to decline significantly in southern, eastern provinces

SANAA, July 06 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate continued on Thursday to drop dramatically against foreign currencies, reaching a record low in financial transactions in the provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition forces.

The exchange rate of the US dollar in Aden province reached 1,394 Yemeni riyals, while the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal reached 368 riyals.

In the capital, Sanaa, the riyal exchange rate preserved its stability at 530 riyals against the US dollar due to a set of measures taken by the Sanaa government to maintain the stability of the currency last year.
