Rainfall expected to prevail various areas of Yemen within coming hours

SANAA, July. 02 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology have expected varying rains in several provinces of Yemen.

The center stated, in its weather bulletin, that rains of varying intensity would fall on parts of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahweet, Sanaa, Dhamar, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, with active winds in the Socotra archipelago.

It also expected sporadic rains, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms, in parts of Lahj, Bayda, and Shabwa, as well as the deserts of Hadramout and Mahra.

The center stated that the weather may be hot during the day, dry in the deserts and internal plateaus, with maximum temperatures ranging between38-44 degrees Celsius.

The center warned the motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads of low horizontal visibility during rain.
