Yemeni tribes condemn burning copies of Holy Quran in Sweden

SANAA, July 01 (YPA) – Yemeni tribes have on Saturday condemned Swedish authorities for allowing extremists to burn copies of the  Holy Quran, under the protection of police.

The Tribal Cohesion Council renewed, in a statement, its condemnation of the Swedish authorities’ continued protection of the perpetrators of these racist violations that provoke and deliberately offend the sanctities and feelings of two billion Muslims around the world, especially on the first day of Eid al-Adha.

The Council called on all tribes of Yemen and the Islamic Ummah to activate the weapon of boycott of the products and goods of countries that allow such shameful acts and practices, and to confront them by all available means.
