Citizens in Hadramout receive al-Alimi with angry slogans

HADRAMOUT, June 26 (YPA) – Citizens in Mukalla, Hadramout governorate, received on Sunda, Rashad al-Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council loyal to Saudi-led coalition, with angry slogans and chants.

Activists documented slogans greeting Al-Alimi in a street in Mukalla with the word “thief”.

 

The chants revealed the state of great popular discontent in areas theoretically controlled by the government loyal to the coalition and suffering of a serious economic and living collapse.

On Friday, citizens tore down pictures of al-Alimi and large banners on the main streets of Mukalla.
