Rains cause heavy damages in Yemen’s Shabwah

SHABWA, July 4 (YPA)- Heavy rains on Tuesday afternoon caused huge destruction in several areas of Ataq district in the eastern province of Shabwa.

Local sources confirmed that a thunderstorm accompanied by cold “snow” and heavy air currents hit the district Ataq, capital of Shabwah province.

The storm caused moderate damage to the houses, government buildings and billboards in the streets of the city, the sources said.
