Health ministry condemns targeting of wedding party in Saada

SANAA, July 4 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned the silence of the United Nations over the Saudi-led coalition war crimes and massacres committed on daily basis against Yemen civilians, the latest of which is the crime of wedding party in the area of Ghafra in  Yemen’s Sa’ada province.

In a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency (YPA), the ministry denounced that targeting of the weeding party in Ghafra area which killed and injured dozens of civilians, including women and children.

The ministry said this heinous massacre took place while the UN envoy to Yemen just arrived in Sanaa and the Head of the United Nation security UNSC is preparing to adopt a solution in Yemen.

The aim of this aggression on Yemen is to kill the Yemen humans and destroy the country since three years ago, the ministry confirmed.

The statement called on all organizations and international community to put more pressure on the coalition to stop its aggression and lift its blockade on Yemen to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The ministry urged the United Nations and international organizations to carry out their duty, to step up their medical assistance for Yemen in this exceptional circumstance.
