Islah militants displace citizen with his family in Taiz

TAIZ, June 18 (YPA) – A number of soldiers of Islah’s “22 Mika Brigade” refused to evacuate home of a citizen after he and his family were displaced in coalition-controlled areas in the center of Taiz city.

Human rights sources confirmed that soldiers loyal to Major General Sadiq Sarhan refused to evacuate the home of the citizen Mohammed Amin Qasem located in Osaifra area after leaving it with his family because of the confrontations.

The sources said that the soldiers stormed the house and seized it by force of arms, demanding that the owner of the house pay five million riyals under the account for the evacuation, indicating that the local and military authorities of the coalition did not fulfill their duty to protect the property of citizens.
