One killed, others injured due to armed clashes in Hodeida

HODEIDA, June 18 (YPA) – One person was killed on Sunday and others injured in armed clashes between factions loyal to UAE in Khokha area, which is under the control of coalition factions south of Hodeida.

According to local sources, clashes broke out between elements belonging to “Tariq Saleh” forces and others loyal to the dismissed commander from the command of “Support Brigade” Abu Diab Al-Alakami, a day after his overthrow, left a dead man named Saadan Ali Said al-Subaihi and a number of wounded.

The sources attributed the confrontations between the armed sons of Al-Sabiha and elements affiliated with Tariq, to latter’s decision to dismiss Al-Alkami from the brigade and appoint another commander.
