HADRAMOUT, June 13 (YPA) – At least two people were killed and three others injured on Tuesday, as a result of armed clashes in Al-Qatn district of Hadramout Governorate, eastern Yemen.
According to local sources, the clashes erupted between tribal gunmen from Nahd and others, after which a number of wounded were taken to the Al-Qatn General Hospital, leading to renewed clashes inside the hospital between the gunmen.
The sources confirmed that the hospital was closed by the forces of the “First Military Region”.
Doctors and staff left the hospital for their safety, one of the sources said, without giving further details.
