North Korean leader reaffirms full support for Russia

WORLD, June 13 (YPA) – North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has pledged to “put his hand in the hand” of the Russian president and strengthen strategic cooperation to achieve their common goal of building a strong country, according to the official Korean Central News Agency.

On the occasion of Russia’s National Day, Kim defended Putin’s decision to launch a military operation in Ukraine and expressed “full support and solidarity.”

In the message released by the Korean Central News Agency, Kim said: “Justice will surely prevail and the Russian people will continue to add glory to the history of victory,” calling for “closer strategic cooperation” with Moscow.

It was the latest message of support from Pyongyang to Moscow since the start of the war in Ukraine.
