WORLD, June 10 (YPA) – Turkey has evacuated 94 people from Sudan over the past two days , due to ongoing clashes, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced.
“As part of the evacuations from Sudan, we have evacuated 94 people over the past two days,” the foreign ministry said on Friday.
It explained that the total of those evacuated by Turkey from Sudan rose to 2,382 people, including 1,961 citizens, and the rest of other nationalities.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed its thanks to all Turkish institutions contributing to the evacuation efforts, and stressed that it always stands by its nationals.
The evacuations are taking place due to clashes that have been ongoing since mid-April between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
