Sanaa, UN discuss implementation of child protection action plan

SANAA, June 08 (YPA) – Advisor to the President of the Supreme Political Council for Diplomatic Affairs – Chairman of the High-Level Technical Committee on Follow-up to the Implementation of the Child Protection Action Plan, Ambassador Abdelilah Hajar, discussed on Thursday with the co-chairs of the United Nations Country Task Force the progress made in implementing the plan.

During the meeting, Hajar reaffirmed the commitment of the Sanaa government to implement the action plan signed between the government and the United Nations in April 2022 and the activities and programs it includes for child protection.

For their part, the UN officials praised the progress made in implementing the action plan and affirmed the United Nations’ commitment to provide all aspects of possible support in this regard.
