Security arrests dangerous theft gang in Hodeida

HODEIDA, June 08 (YPA) – Hodeida police arrested on Thursday the most dangerous theft gangs in Hodeida.

The province’s police department said in a statement that the operation came after coordination with a number of police stations in the city, to arrest the gang, including three people, all of whom had criminal records, and were wanted for dozens of theft crimes that they committed in Sanaa and Hodeida.

The statement indicated that a large amount of stolen items were found, including various weapons and ammunition, sums of money and gold, phones, car batteries and other stolen items, noting that several motorbikes were used in the robberies.

The accused were referred to the security custody to complete the legal procedures.
