Yemeni riyal hits record decline in southern, eastern provinces

SANAA, June 07 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal’s devaluation accelerated on Wednesday, hitting a new low in financial transactions in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled provinces.

In Aden, the US dollar hit 1,3342 Yemeni riyals for sale and 1,347 for buy, while the Saudi riyal reached 353 riyals for sale and 355 riyals for purchase, according to the financial transactions exchange.

In the capital, Sanaa, the US dollar exchange rate remained consistent at 530 riyals for sale and 528 riyals for purchase.
