Zionists plan to establish new settler bloc in Salfit

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 05 (YPA) – Israeli occupation authorities approved on Sunday a decision to seize lands belonging to towns in the Salfit and Qalqilya governorates in the northern and eastern parts of the West Bank, Palestinian sources revealed.

The decision, made by the self-proclaimed “Higher Planning Council,” includes the establishment of a new industrial zone called “Sho’ar Hishomaron” and “Nahal Rbah” on 4,000 dunams of agricultural land, it also involves the construction of road networks, a cemetery, and public areas. Abdullah Kamil, the governor of Salfit said.

The plan further includes the expansion of the “Qana” settlement and its connection to the “Oranit” settlement, as well as the establishment of new settlement units, road networks, and a sewage pumping station on the lands of Rafat, Masha, and Siniria in Qalqilya.

Abdullah Kamil, the governor of Salfit, called on residents and farmers to contact relevant official bodies, such as the municipal and rural councils, the General Authority for Civil Affairs, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, and various legal entities. He urged them to submit necessary objections and oppose the occupation’s plans.

Kamil emphasized that these actions by the Israeli occupation constitute a clear and serious violation of international law and legitimate international decisions, particularly United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334.

He stated that the policy of settlement expansion, land confiscation, and displacement of Palestinians is illegitimate, illegal, rejected, and condemned.
