TAIZ, May 31 (YPA) – Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Islah Party has established a new training camp in Al-Shamayatain district, southwest of Taiz province.
Sources familiar with the matter said these moves came in procreations to confront the UAE-funded factions led by Tariq Saleh, the nephew of the former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The sources confirmed that the commander of the so-called “special forces” affiliated with the Islah Party, Jamil Aqlan, directed his militants to create the training camp in the lands owned to citizens in Jabal Sabran area, in the center of Al-Turbah district.
The sources reported that Aqlan brought a number of new recruits for training inside the citizens’ lands without compensating them, indicating that the expansion process was carried out by force of arms.
Hundreds of recruits are being trained inside the site, which is in the middle of residential neighborhoods, which constitutes a source of inconvenience and endangers the lives of the people, they added.
The sources suggested that the establishment of the training camp was in order to limit the military movements of the UAE-affiliated factions led by “Tariq Saleh” and whose headquarters in Mocha, “west of Taiz.”
