Pictures of naked Israelis, foreigners in Socotra provoke Yemenis, spark anger against the UAE

SOCOTRA, May 31 (YPA) -The Yemeni Island of Socotra, which is under the UAE occupation, has been witnessing an air movement to attract foreign tourists, including Israelis, through Emirati and Israeli tourism companies in full view of the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition, without taken any position against the Emirati tampering with Yemeni sovereignty.

Activists on social media platforms denounced the UAE’s blatant interference in the affairs of the Yemeni island and rejected all practices  taking place in the archipelago, which the  UAE made it look like to Dubai in terms of moral corruption  and the spread of indecent things.

The activists circulated pictures of foreign tourists naked, which is an alien to the  conservative Yemeni society, which the UAE brings into the island with visas issued  from Abu Dhabi.

They attacked pro-coalition media officials,  who denied the arrival of tourists, troops and equipment from Israel to the Yemeni archipelago of Socotra through Emirati planes and companies, which were exposed by Israeli media and Israeli tourists who published their photos carrying the flags of the Zionist entity in Socotra.

“Under the protection of the Emirates, Israeli tourists roam the Yemeni island of Socotra and provoke Yemenis by carrying the Israeli flag, and we are  telling  you this “  Yemen throughout the ages has been a graveyard for invaders,” activists said.

In late 2021,  the UAE sent 4,000 foreign tourists with UAE visas, most of them Israelis, to the Yemeni island of Socotra through Emirati tourism agencies with UAE visas away from the pro- coalition government, which came after bringing about 150 foreign workers from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Uganda, and distributing them to a number of Emirati military sites on the island.
