Al-Hassani reveals next military scenario in Hadramout, Mahra

MAHRA, May 30 (YPA) – A southern political activist revealed on Tuesday the next military scenario in the provinces of Hadramout and Mahra, in eastern Yemen.

Adel Al-Hassani, the political activist, affirmed on Twitter that the UAE would continue to mobilize its factions from outside Hadramout towards Mukalla city, with the goal of controlling the city of Seiyun city, the center of the districts of Wadi and the Desert of Hadramout.

He explained Saudi Arabia intervened as a mediator in the districts of Wadi Hadramout to deploy the so-called “Dara al-Watan forces” for expelling the “First Military Region Forces” loyal to Islah Party.

Al-Hassani said the Saudi intervention came to prevent confrontation, because the Saudi-led coalition countries are well aware of the size of the forces of the Region.

He expected that the “Saudi-formed Dara al-Watan forces” would declare their allegiance to the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) after its control of the districts of Wadi Hadramout, pointing out that the last chapter of the Emirati-Saudi conspiracy would head towards Mahra province.

During the past two days, Saudi Arabia had pushed the Dara al-Watan forces towards the districts of Wadi Hadramout, with news of giving the First Military Region a month’s deadline to remove its forces from the province.
