Sanaa reveals surprise to deter Saudi Arabia, make it regret

SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – Secretary of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Dr. Yasser Al-Houri, revealed a surprise that Yemen is preparing to deter Saudi Arabia and make it regret if it continues to procrastinate to complete negotiations and adhere to Yemen’s peace entitlements.

Dr. Al-Houri stressed that Yemen is preparing its alternatives and options in the event “Saudi Arabia continues to take “a one-step and two-step back approach to negotiations.”

“If there is no clear and explicit commitment, Saudi Arabia and the region will not enjoy security and stability,” he said, indicating that the Yemeni options are wide, with the expansion of Yemeni homemade military production and combat readiness at all levels.

The Political Council’s secretary pointed out that Saudi Arabia is dodging and trying to gain time in implementing its commitments in the humanitarian file, which includes addressing the effects of the war in all aspects and all commitments to achieve peace in Yemen.

It is worth noting that the Yemeni people did not see any positive results from the armistice, except for the release of some prisoners and one destination for flights, which increases their suffering from the effects of the war and the blockade for more than eight years.
