STC militias threaten to storm Islah camps in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, May 27 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias threatened to storm the camps of the “First Military Zone” loyal to Islah in the districts of Wadi Hadramout, eastern Yemen.

Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, deputy head of the STC, said in an interview with “Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq” TV that “the liberation of the districts of Wadi Hadramout “will be a matter of life and death,” hinting at the use of force to control Wadi Hadramout and sacrificing a million people.

There is an agreement with Saudi Arabia to replace the “First Military Region Brigades” with the Saudi-formed “Dara al-Watan” forces from the districts of the province.

He indicated that the STC trying to prepare itself militarily and politically to announce what it called “separation,” “but it takes into account the position of the coalition at the present time.”

Bin Brik accused the head of the Saudi-formed Presidential Council, Rashad al-Alimi, of lying and deception.
