6 Palestinians arrested by Israeli occupation forces in West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 23 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces launched at dawn on Wednesday a campaign of arrest and raid in different parts of the West Bank.

According to Palestinian sources, the raids included the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin and Tulkarm.

In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the two brothers after storming their family home in the town of Jaba’, south of the city, and arrested a wounded young Palestinian his father after storming their house in the eastern neighborhood of the city.

According to the sources, clashes erupted between the resistance fighters and the occupation forces during the storming of the neighborhood.

In Ramallah, clashes erupted between youths and the Israeli occupation forces after they stormed Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the city. The occupation forces fired tear gas towards the homes of citizens. They also caused  great damage inside a shop in the camp.

In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Khalil Abu Ghadeeb and Bahaa Al-Tayyan after storming their homes in the city, while resistance fighters opened fire on the Israeli occupation forces during their withdrawal from Al-Maajin neighborhood in Nablus.

Palestinian sources reported that sirens sounded in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm to warn against the incursion of the Israeli occupation forces into the camp.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Zatara and raided houses and tampered with their contents.
