3 construction workers killed, injured due to bomb explosion in Lahj

LAHJ, May 22 (YPA) – Three construction workers were killed and injured on Monday, after they were exposed to a grenade explosion thrown at them by unknown persons, in Tibn district of Lahj province, southern Yemen.

Local residents said that one of the construction workers was killed and two others were seriously injured after unknown persons threw a bomb on a plot of land in Bia’r Nasser area.

They added that the dead man was taken to the hospital refrigerator, and the injured were also taken by ambulance for treatment.They explained that the perpetrators fled after committing the crime.
