Sanaa warns Yemeni students of dealing with ‘Islamic University of Minnesota’

SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – An official source at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Sanaa government confirmed that the so-called Islamic University of Minnesota in the United States of America is not recognized in Yemen.

The source explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this university is illegal and does not have a permit to practice any educational activity inside the Republic of Yemen under any name of public system, distance education or open education.

The source warned Yemeni students inside and outside the homeland from joining this university or dealing with it under any name.

He stressed that the ministry will not recognize its outputs and will not endorse any document issued by it.

The source pointed out that the ministry disclaims its responsibility in the event of joining this university by any student, and also disclaims its responsibility for approving any document that comes to the ministry from this university after this announcement.
