Israeli occupation forces storm Old City of Nablus

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 14 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces, on Sunday morning, stormed the Old City of Nablus from several axes, amid clashes with Palestinian resistance.

According Palestinian sources, violent clashes took place between Israeli occupation soldiers and Palestinian resistance, in the vicinity of al-Qaisariya neighborhood in the Old City of Nablus, causing number of injuries among Palestinian.

The Red Crescent said that “One suffered from tear gas inhalation was transferred to the National Hospital.”

“No other injuries were reported,” Red Crescent said, adding that ambulances are present in the vicinity of the besieged area of Nablus.”

The Ministry of Health announced that “one injury with live ammunition in the limbs reached Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus as a result of the Israeli occupation aggression on the city this morning.”

According to media sources, the occupation forces surrounded the family home of Adham Mabrouka al-Shishani, in the Old City, while sirens sounded in the city.

According to the Prisoners’ Club, two young men were arrested during the raid and they were transferred to an unknown area.
