Arrest warrant issued against pro-Islah military commanders

TAIZ, May 11 (YPA) – The Ministry of Interior in the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition issued an arrest warrant against a number of military commanders affiliated with Islah Party factions in the “Taiz axis”.

Activists circulated on social media platforms a document issued by the so-called “Security and Police” in the pr0-coalition ministry of Interior, last Tuesday, calling for  the arrest of the adviser to the leadership of the “Taiz axis” Abdo Farhan Ali Al-Mikhlafi, known as “Salem”, and five others, “Shawqi Saeed Qasim Al-Mikhlafi, brother of Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, Aref Ghaleb Saad Murshid Al-Khazraji, Muhammad Adel Al-Ashbat, Firas Muhammad Abdullah Al-Humaidi, Muhammad Hamoud Al-Tabba, on charges of killing  Nayef Mahmoud Al-Sabri, in front of his house in Al-Shammasi neighborhood in  Salah area in the center of Taiz.

The document, addressed to “the Passports Authority, the Director General of Ports and Airports, the West Coast Security Sector, and Control unit at pro-coalition Ministry of Defense ,” calling for the arrest of the wanted persons, according to a memorandum by the head of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution in Aden last March.
