Girl tries to commit suicide in Taiz

TAIZ, May 06 (YPA) – A young girl was injured on Friday after she attempted  to commit a suicide by shooting herself in Taiz governorate.

According to local sources, an 18-year-old high school student tried to commit suicide by shooting herself with a pistol in the Al-Jabziya area of Al-Ma’afer district, southwest of Taiz, amid mysterious circumstances.

Sources pointed out that the girl, whose father works as an officer in the “moral guidance” of the Tariq Affash forces, was taken to Al-Nashma Hospital for treatment, indicating that her health condition is unstable.

They did not give any further details about the incident and the reasons for the suicide attempt of are still unknown.
