670 Ukrainian soldiers, foreign mercenaries killed in past hours

MOSCOW, April 27 (YPA) – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday the losses of the Ukrainian army during the past 24 hours, which included the death of 670 soldiers and mercenaries, in addition to the shooting down of a Ukrainian Su-24 fighter.

This came within the report on the progress of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine on Thursday, April 27.

The report stated the implementation of a concentrated strike with long-range, high-precision naval weapons on the points of deployment of enemy reserves, and all targets were hit with precision, which would prevent the advancement of marine units of the Ukrainian armed forces to the areas of combat operations.

The air strikes and artillery fire of the “West” group in the direction of Kobyansk also hit the stationing points of personnel and military equipment, while the actions of four Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Luhansk People’s Republic and the Kharkov region were repulsed.

According to the report, the enemy’s losses amounted to 110 soldiers, while armored fighting vehicles, three vehicles and “Grad” launcher were destroyed.
