President hails int’l humanitarian organizations’ role in Yemen

SANAA, Feb. 4 (YPA) – President Saleh al-Sammad on Sunday highly appreciated the positions of the UN and international organizations working in the humanitarian field in Yemen.

This came during the president’s meeting in Sanaa with Acting Humanitarian Coordinator and Country Director of the World Food Program in Yemen, UNICEF’s Representative, WHO Representative and Director of the OCHA.

In the meeting, the president reviewed the massacres committed by the Saudi-led coalition in several Yemeni provinces, as well as the repercussions of the all-out blockade imposed by the coalition on the citizens’ livelihood and their psychological, health, educational and social conditions.
