SANAA, Feb. 4 (YPA) – United Arab Emirates occupation forces have privatized a national electricity company in the Yemeni Socotra Island, a local official told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
SANAA, Feb. 4 (YPA) – United Arab Emirates occupation forces have privatized a national electricity company in the Yemeni Socotra Island, a local official told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
The occupation forces handed over the company to Emirati national of Iraqi origin Yasser Adnan Jassem al-Ani after the forces seized the assets and generators of the company.
The move came after the occupation forces illegally privatized the company.
Residents said the tariff has risen by 300 percentage.
