Sanaa forces repel UAE-backed militia’s attack in Taiz

TAIZ, April 13 (YPA) – UAE-backed Armed factions on Wednesday launched an attack on positions of Sanaa forces in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.

Local sources in Taiz said that the recruits of the “Fourth Hazm Brigade” afflated with UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) launched an attack from their positions on the outskirts of the Tur Al-Baha district in the southern Yemeni province of Lahj, towards the positions of Sanaa forces in the Haifan district of Taiz.

According to the source, Sana’a forces were able to repel the attack and force the Emirati factions to retreat back  to their positions in the ” Al-Karb” areas in Tur Al-Baha in Lahj governorate and in Al- and Dhabab west of Taiz .
