MARIB, April 06 (YPA) – A huge fire broke out on Wednesday in one of the camps for displaced people in the city of Marib, north-eastern Yemen.
Local sources said that a fire broke out in “Al-Samiya” camp for the displaced in the center of Marib city, which led to the demolition of a house completely and causing damage to a number of displaced homes.
According to the sources, the fire consumed one of the modest houses, due to the delay in the arrival of the civil defense team and the lack of security and safety means in the displaced camps.
From time to time, IDP camps in Marib governorate and the rest of the governorates under the control of the coalition forces are exposed to multiple fires, causing material and human losses.
