Coalition destroys over 3,000 educational facilities in Yemen

SANAA, April 01 (YPA) – Over 3,768 schools and educational facilities have been destroyed and damaged by the Saudi-led coalition since its aggression on Yemen begun in 2015.

Sadiq Al-Rasha, a deputy of Projects and Equipment Sector in the Ministry of Education, said in a news statement that schools damaged were including one million and 926 thousand and 239 male and female students.

About 435 of the facilities were completely destroyed, the statement added.

In addition to the killing of hundreds of students and educational staff, and more than 196 thousand and 197 teachers were affected as a result of stopping their salaries.
