STC militia seize weapons shipment of Islah in Shabwa

SHABWA, March 29 (YPA) – The UAE-backed “Southern Transitional” militia thwarted the smuggling of weapons shipment belonging to Islah that was on its way to the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

Media sources explained that one of the security points belonging to the so-called “the Southern Resistance,” seized a number of RPG shells and a 12.7 mm Dushka weapon, in addition to a large amount of ammunition and smuggled medicines, at al-Saaid junction in the lower Markha district.

The sources, quoting the commander of al-Saaid junction sector, said that the shipment was on board a Dina type truck,” which was on its way to disturb the security and stability situation in Shabwa.
