ADEN, March 21 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Tuesday in the city of Aden, south of Yemen, among militants loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, killing a gunman and wounding others.
Local sources in the city stated that the clashes broke out between armed men from al-Sabiha tribes and a merchant from the sons of Yafea, in support of members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia in Bir Ali area, due to a dispute over a piece of land.
The sources pointed out that the confrontations lasted amid the absence of state authorities, and the coalition countries’ encouragement of tribal conflicts between the people of the southern provinces.
