WORLD, March 15 (YPA) – Well-known US journalist Seymour Hersh has refuted the version of the sabotaging of the “Nord Streams”, which claimed that a pro-Ukrainian group was behind the bombings.
“What has been published by the New York Times, based on US intelligence representatives, on the sabotaging of the “Nord Streams” a “crazy story”,” he said.
At the same time, Hersh, who specializes in investigative journalism, claimed to know much more about the history of sabotage on pipelines than he could tell.
“I know a lot more about this than I can tell. I just can’t talk about it,” he stated.
He added, “I sometimes think that the current president [US Joe Biden] has lost his intelligence community.”
In this regard, he noted that it was the US intelligence agencies that “fed” the American press “this crazy story” about the possible involvement of a pro-Ukrainian group in the undermining of the “Northern Streams”.
The journalist explained, in particular, that it does not stand up to any criticism, since some amateur activists simply could not carry out an operation of such a degree of complexity.
