Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi calls on preachers to confront plans of nation’s enemies
SANAA, March 13 (YPA) – The leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, confirmed on Monday that the enemies of the Islamic nation seek to spoil it, mislead it, and turn it into an infidel nation and apostate from Allah’s religion and principles.
This came in a televised speech he delivered during an expanded meeting of preachers and mentors across the provinces of the Republic, which was aired this afternoon.
“Our nation is living in a state of being targeted by a large number of its enemies to mislead and corrupt it,” Sayyed Abdulmalik said.
He pointed out that the enemies of the nation are moving with all their capabilities and all means, militarily, politically, economically, and culturally.
“There is a campaign targeting the nation from within, as bad scholars are moving into some countries loyal to America and Israel to present a distorted image of Islam,” he added.
The revolution leader urged preachers to keep abreast of important developments in reality, whether within the nation or on the part of its enemies, and to focus on addressing negative phenomena in society.
He explained that one of the most important things the enemies focus on is targeting the nation’s morals and values and seeking to spread vice within it.
Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed that the responsibility of preachers is great and sacred and represents a necessary need for society, calling on preachers to prepare well for the sermon and not to have impromptu speeches without prior preparation.
