Yemeni riyal reaches new low against foreign currencies in southern province

SANAA, March 12 (YPA) – The exchange rates of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies on Sunday continued to tumble in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled provinces of Aden and Hadramout, reaching 1,248 Yemeni riyals per dollar and 331 riyals every Saudi riyal.

Nonetheless, thanks to monetary stability measures established by the Sanaa government last year, the Yemeni riyal exchange rate in Sanaa has remained stable at 549 riyals per dollar and 146 riyals per Saudi riyal.
