House Speaker congratulates Chinese parliament on election of President Xi Jinping for new term

SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, sent a cable of congratulations to Speaker of the National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu on the occasion of Parliament’s election of President Xi Jinping for a third term.

Al-Ra’i stressed the importance of China’s role in supporting the cause of the Yemeni people and working towards peace, ending the blockade, and removing the Yemeni people from their isolation as a result of the bullying policy of the countries of unipolar dominance.

He pointed to the depth of the relations between the two friendly peoples of Yemen and China, wishing the parliamentary relations between the two countries further development.
