MOSCOW, March 10 (YPA) – The Russian Foreign Ministry has announced the imposition of sanctions on 144 officials and parliamentarians in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
The move comes in response to the active pressure of the Baltic states to impose sanctions against Moscow, interfere in its internal affairs, and engage in arming Kiev.
The Russian Foreign Ministry was quoted by TASS news agency today as saying that the Russian ban list includes ministers, parliamentarians, public figures, and journalists from the aforementioned Baltic states.
The ministry added, “The most hostile ministers and parliamentarians have been included in the Russian sanctions list.”
