Season of afforestation launched in Dhamar province

DHAMAR, March 08 (YPA) – The Governor of Dhamar Province, Muhammad Nasser Al-Bukhaiti, launched on Wednesday the annual afforestation season, which is overseen by the Agriculture and Irrigation Office in the province.

At the inauguration, Al-Bukhaiti emphasized the need of afforestation and expanding the planting of fruit trees and forestry in order to carry out the directions of the Revolution’s Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik bin Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the Supreme Political Council.

The governor urged various government agencies and community members to work together to make this year’s afforestation season a success that adds to more green space.
