3 tons of outdated foodstuffs destroyed in capital Sanaa

 SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – The Office of Industry and Trade in the capital Sanaa destroyed on Thursday three tons of various expired and damaged foodstuffs.

Director of the capital’s Office of Industry, Majed Al-Sada, made it clear that these materials were destroyed in compliance with legal processes and with the cooperation of the Industry and Trade Prosecution in the capital Sanaa.

He confirmed the office’s keenness to continue field campaigns to monitor and inspect markets and shops, control price and catering violations, and confiscate and destroy damaged and expired foodstuffs.
