Palestinian dies of his wounds sustained during Israeli occupation raid in Jericho

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 02 (YPA) – A Palestinian who was injured earlier on Wednesday during an Israeli occupation army assault on Aqbat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho has died of his wounds, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed tonight.

According to the ministry, Mahmoud Jamal Hamdan, 22, died of the critical wounds he received earlier during the assault on the refugee camp.

Hamdan was injured and arrested along with five other people from one family including four brothers in their 50s and 40s, and the son of one of them.

Israel occupation forces imposed a tight closure on the ancient city of Jericho, east of the West Bank, following a shooting attack on a highway outside the city that left one Israeli soldier dead.
