Second technical engineering exhibition for creativity opened in Sanaa

SANAA, Feb. 28 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohamad Al-Nuaimi, and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Hazeb, opened on Tuesday the second technical engineering exhibition for creativity and innovation in the capital Sanaa.

The exhibition is organized by the College of Science and Engineering at Al-Hikma University, coinciding with the anniversaries of the martyr leader Hussein Badr Al-Houthi and the martyr president, Saleh Al-Sammad.

At the opening, Al-Nuaimi and Hazeb were briefed on the contents of the exhibition, which includes 82 projects representing a summary of the ideas, projects, and creations of students in the departments of communications, networks, information technology, architecture, and civil engineering.

The Supreme Political Member stressed the importance of holding such exhibitions that highlight the engineering and technical innovations of students that can be turned into projects on the ground.

In turn, the Minister of Higher Education noted the significance of transforming students’ innovations into projects that provide realistic solutions to some problems, affirming that encouraging these projects and innovations is among the ministry’s priorities and national vision projects.

Hazeb confirmed the interest of the Supreme Political Council in innovation and scientific research in various fields, including what has been achieved in the military industry.
