Departure of occupier is major base for peace in Yemen: Senior official

SANAA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – Member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Abd al-Malik al-Ajri affirmed on Saturday that respect for Yemen’s sovereignty and unity is the main basis for peace in Yemen.

Al-Ajri said on Twitter, addressing the Saudi-led coalition, “the main rule of peace in Yemen is that you leave the land, sky and sea of Yemen, and respect its sovereignty and unity.”

He pointed out that all peace agreements since the Westphalia Agreement in 1648 that had ended the “Thirty Years’ War”, to the peace initiative being submitted by China today to solve the Ukrainian crisis and the respect for the sovereignty of states.
