Health Minister discusses Taiz Governor launching resilience program in Maqbana

SANAA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, discussed on Saturday in Sanaa with the Governor of Taiz Province, Salah Bajash, the aspects related to the health sector in the province and the procedures for launching the National Resilience Program in Maqbana district.

During the meeting, the Health Minister affirmed that the implementation of the National Resilience Program aims to enhance the effective field presence of state institutions in serving society and defending the homeland.

Dr. Al-Mutawakel also emphasized that the country’s exceptional circumstances necessitate concerted efforts from everyone to thwart the aggression’s plots and plans.

He stated that a committee has been formed to travel to the Maqbana district this week to assist local authorities in inspecting the situation and projects required in the districts, as well as to encourage the role of community initiatives in the local development process.

For his part, the governor of Taiz confirmed the local authority’s readiness to facilitate the committee’s work, indicating that the implementation of the program as required would have an effective impact in enhancing the factors of steadfastness.
